Laughter, excitement, and discovery
Crown Point Community Theatre presents Improv Fundamentals for Teens - a series of 8-week improv classes by Nelson Velazquez. New skills are taught each week in a fun, safe environment geared specifically towards teens. Students learn the essentials of Improv such as agreement and support in ensemble work, getting over stage-fright and being in the moment, and making bold choices through group exercises, basic improvised scenes, and games. At the end of each 8 week class, students participate in a showcase demonstrating their skills. Class size is limited. Ages are limited from 13-18 (other ages admitted with instructor approval).
